garlic potato bites

 Who doesn't love these?

The frozen pack of potato bites from Mc Cain vanishes within no time in my house.

It's so tasty and the smell of garlic is just that which makes it interesting .

So here is the recipe of potato bites and is baked in an air fryer.

The taste is not similar to the fried ones but it is just so  full of garlic flavour and as is free of oil one can't resist to have some more.

The crust is so crispy and is soft inside .

Ingredients:

Boiled potato : 3 medium

garlic cloves : 5

red chili flakes : 1-2 tsp

oil : 3 tsp

rice flour : 1 cup

water : 1 cup

salt to taste

Method :

Peel the skin of garlic and finely chop them.

In a fry pan add oil and when hot add garlic ,red chili flakes and fry them.

Now add 1 cup of water and salt and let it boil.

When boiling add 1 cup of rice flour and mix well and switch off the stove.

Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Grate the boiled potato and mix into the rice flour mixture and mix well.

Now adjust the seasonings and knead well to form a soft dough.

Add  more rice flour if needed.

Now preheat the air fryer at 180 degrees .

Make bite sized balls of the dough and shape them into rounds or ovals as needed.

Brush them with oil and place in the air fryer

and bake for 10-12 minutes accordingly.

Serve hot with ketchup..
