Kids never eat leafy vegetables and i guess this is a common problem in every household.
Not only kids but adults too.
so give a try and hope everyone likes this awesome green coloured rice...
Ingredients:
Cooked rice : 1 cup
Curry leaves : 1 cup full
Green chillies : 4
Fresh coconut grated : 2 tbsp
Salt : a/c to taste
Lemon juice. : 2 tbsp
Oil and ghee : equal (1:1)
Cashew nuts :10
Procedure :
Take the cooked rice into a large bowl.
In a jar add cleaned fresh curry leaves,grated coconut,chilies,salt and make into a paste.
Take a skillet and add oil and ghee .
When heated add jeera,mustard seeds ,urad dal
and when tadka done add cashew nuts and fry them.
When the cashews are fried add the ground paste and sauté
for a couple of minutes till the raw smell disappears.
Now add this mixture to the rice and mix well.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Serve with raita...
